After my daughter was born in April of 2004, I began to accumulate a great collection of flowered onesies, ruffles, princess sleepers, and everything PINK. As she began growing out of her baby clothes, I neatly packed them away in my basement, hoping they would get a second use. When my son was born in October of 2006, I quickly realized that my surplus of pink would do no good. Wrong color. Wrong season.

I scrambled to buy anything blue! With two small kids in tow, I needed to get in and out – FAST – so I figured I’d try the franchise kid’s resale store nearby. I did find a couple cute items, but no matching outfits. I was so overwhelmed by the lack of organization; I left with only a few toys.

After that experience, I knew there was a better way for moms to shop resale.

That’s how the KinderCloset concept was born.
